According to Schroth they were designed for the E90 and the different F30 seat positions would change the angles of the belts outside of their functional range. Certain DE's, clubs, and organizations will not pass these belts for cars they are not designed for. You make a big deal about using the QF/QFP in cars that the harnesses weren't designed for (which is warranted), but you also suggest pairing the QF/QFP with a "proper racing seat":

You know Schroth states that QF/QFP aren't approved for use with fixed back seats, right? There's currently only one fixed back race seat that Schroth has approved for use with QF/QFP.

I would of course do the research first. If there is only one that is approved, I'd get that. That's what I mean by "proper". If you need to run a harness, I'd do that. My point was, the stock seats aren't approved. If you really want to use the quick fit, you have to get another seat that works with it.
Kinda defeats the point of a "quick fit" though doesn't it?
