It took me 4 months to find my local Canadian mystical unicorn 428i rear wheel drive. I hated xdrive, don't need it in vancouver BC, my RWD came with passive M sport suspension, handles way better than the xdrive suspension which sits higher and is much softer. The turbo 4 is for the insane gas prices we have here, so there is a market for everything. RWD is also better on gas than xdrive. The only hesitation where I see he may have issues selling, is the 100,000km maintenance of spark plugs, injectors, coils etc. If he did that huge maintenance already, then it might be an easier sale.
