I'm glad this post is active again. I have been watching this issue since buying my '15 328d last September. I'm seriously thinking delete and tune but I want to get a few more miles of my own (55K when I bought it) before I begin remodeling. My other ride is a '02 F350 with the 7.3L diesel. No EGR, no DPF, no worries.
Mileage is still 40+ mpg, so no complaints. Just don't want the problems that others have had with the EGR.
