I went 18x8.5 square for my track setup on my f30.
Guys at apex recommend 235/40/18 as the ideal tire size, with 245/40/18 also a viable option. I chose to go with re-71r as my tire choice.
I hoped to get 245 wide but they were sold out across the country so I settled for 235.
You absolutely can not go wrong with apex wheels. Absolute best bang for the buck. Super light 18" wheels, awesome price point when you get in on their group buy, and a great company with great customer service.
