Steve was working at Chip Ganassi, but mostly on the sponsorship side of things, not necessarily engineering. A lot of folks heard about the move and assumed he was part of engineering on the GT program, but that's not the case. He left a while ago, came back to Morgan Hill, and now owns and operates CarBahn (the shops) and the race team.
