I wish it was that easy. The problem is in the US, the 328xi touring is already ~$2500 more expensive than the X3 Xdrive28i. Nobody here wants to buy a station wagon that is more expensive than an SUV/SAV with about the same utility.

Probably won't make much of a difference. As soon as the F30 GT comes out, everyone will jump on the GT bandwagon.
