I was not able to find HUD on my glass. The markings I do have are:

BMW
Pilkington
43R-001622.....................I'm guessing a serial or part#
AS1M1246-2DOT682.........DOT registration # for complaince
Same part number as mine and I have a HUD and mine is visible. Does your HUD adjust with sunlight? Or did it ever? I bet they messed up the light sensor when they installed the windshield.
