B58 aftermarket clutch and flywheel options
There's very little data or positive long term reviews that I can find on aftermarket clutch options for b58. If you have the nice simple OEM 550i clutch, I hope it continues to hold up well for you. This is no fun.
There are constant codes about the DMF protection and clutch damage, I will not be buying another DMF. I hope it doesn't explode and chop my legs off. I rolled back to stage 1. 700wtq area would be good, some sort of twin disc.
As far as I can find, for the b58, we have aftermarket kits from:
- clutchmasters
- spec
- motiv
- sachs
I see kits for older models but no b58 from:
- x clutch
- tilton
- dkm
Flywheel has to be for b58. Any other options for b58?
Anyone have any input or actual experience with an aftermarket kit? Thanks
