Good thought as these both certainly have an effect. However, the brochure quotes 225/45/R18 tyres in the same column.
My line of thought was along the lines of getting better NOX burn for Euro6 may have reduced the overall efficiency for the given testing regime. What effect this has on real driving I couldn't guess...
The 30d is available in Luxury and MSport. So, I'd assume the numbers are for the best case and probably mixed models... But, if they have been real in their number generation...
The 40i only appears available in MSport for the uk market. However, do they test local specification vehicles for each market? I'd doubt it...
If the diesel is really less efficient now, we all should petition to bring back NTG!
