Very good point.
A good example... the F30 335i. Allocations are in short supply and most dealers are not being aggressive with discounting. The AH3 on the other hand... can be aggressively negotiated on, and allocations seem plentiful. I'm not sure if dealers have a quota on moving certain sub-models or not, but it probably looks good to sell more of AH3 (or 3er GT) related to other dealers, because inherently its a tougher sale.
