Edit. Extra question. My first time out I upgraded tires, fluids, and pads for safety. What steps do you make to make the n55 more reliable to track? My biggest worry is blowing the motor over time.
I would say upgrade your brake fluid to RBF660, RBF600 overheat very quickly.

The N55 loves to rev high, I track mine and my buddy does competitive time attack with his and we both sent in our oil to blackstone and they were surprised that the oil was clean and had no traces of us beating on it.

No need to worry about the motor, just make sure you change your oil every 3.5k miles if you do a lot of tracking, and change your gaskets right away if they leak. Also check your oil after every session to make sure it's at the maximum line. I normally keep a 5L bottle of oil with me at all times.

The car has been solid and wonderful, I have been using Motul 600 and stop tech sport pads the past few weekend and they haven't let me down.

I was told to always keep your fuel tank above half at all times as if your track has high G corners, you will starve your fuel pump and RIP motor. I normally go to the track with a full tank and fill up if I go below half.
