Depends on what tires your rolling on and the surface conditions, you REALLY have to be forceful to get it to go sideways, a little scandinavian flick works, but since our cars are so underpowered once the initial phase of rotation lessens the tires just grip again and the engine doesnt have enough umph to keep them spinning. And if you are on grippy asphalt forget it, needs to be old and dirty road to be able to do it.

In the rain its much easier.

This is for RWD, for Xdrive i imagine its practically impossible in the dry.
