I'm not an engineer, but having said that though, I think the normal spoilers that come with the M3 and M4 would probably add minimum downforce. They're more cosmetic than anything, so I think adding aftermarket ones are fine. The only stock one that I think would add function would be the CF one that comes with the M4 GTS.
