Was the filter itself good?

Pretty set on the K&N PS-7014 oil filter, might still buy it and just purchase the OEM BMW O-Rings as well instead of using the K&N O-Rings as you mentioned they may not seal properly.

I don't mind spending extra money to make my engine happier lol, I just want whats best.
