Hey guys (and girls)
I've recently noticed my wheels start to corrode on my 403M's 19" and after doing a quick search found this to be quite a common problem. I have contacted BMW and have a date to pop down and get some photos done and hope to get it sorted through warranty (12 month used car warranty).
I've never really taken to the wheels though and after doing a bit of research found the VMR V710's which I absolutely love. I contacted the EU store and been suggested to order two 8.5 x 19 and two 9.5 x 19. (Is this the wheel width? I've no idea?!)
My tyres have only recently been changed so I've got the Bridgestone Potenza's 225 40R 19 BY and 255 35R 19 YB fitted.
Is this simply a straight swap? Is anything else needed other than taking the new wheels to the tyre shop and getting them swapped over?
Just want to make sure before I start ordering....
