My friend and I did the same back in college when the cat was "melted" on his Civic si. The car rev-ed so much faster, but when I followed him back to our apartment I did not enjoy that blue smog at all. I couldn't see anything and it smelled horrible as well...
That's the reason why I would never go catless... at least OP is enjoying it. Please try to drive it off road
