This happened to me a couple of cars (BMW) ago. Saw a few spots of pink fluid on the drive and mentioned it to the dealer. They reckoned that it would need new oil and everything tightening up - quoted £180. I rang 2 indies who said that just tightening things up would not solve the problem and quoted me £360 to replace some type of tray/cover as well.
In the end I opted for the main dealer solution and it seemed to work, at least for the 18 months after that until I sold the car.
