So moral of the story is avoid dp. JB4 appears to be safer as any problems are easily solved by removing jb4 with no permanent damage. Check engine light will clear itself after a couple driving cycles, or simply turn off jb4 and set back to factory defaults. Much like coding a vehicle. SAs won't bother if you leave jb4 in vehicle but car runs normally at time of service.
