I know they have plug in hybrid in format of e models, but I was under the impression that the Prius hybrid systems were just better in managing the switch to improve gas mileage. I know e models are plug ins and a little different, but still. I am super bummed about the X2 being FWD though...
You can get it with x drive but I guess it's front wheel drive biased though may not matter as much in a suv. BMW did tune the suspension and handling as well as tires to be more BMW like. I drove an X1 loaner and it is quick and nimble especially for an SUV. Also the engine is a B46 so still a BMW turbo engine with lots of low end torque.
