I have a similar issue where there is no rattle in the morning, but in the afternoon when I leave work, it's there. The fixing bow is still attached, so that can't be the cause. Were you able to resolve your problem?
If I just zip tie the bow in its open position, would I get any dash warnings if I don't remove the electronic plug?
