My dealer ran my VIN twice and swore that my car had ASD. I took out my trunk panels on the left side to reveal my H/K amplifier (2015 335) but there was no ASD. Technicpnp said that they haven't come across a 3-series in the US that has an ASD, but they have seen them on 3-series in Europe.

That would make some sense to me. Going through the coding options and choosing an invalid chassis/engine combination for ASD didn't change how my car sounded at all.
