Going from ANY M to any non-M will be blah...
I made a mistake of going from the F80 to G20 M340i, and got bored after 3-4 months, finally jumped out of the lease after 9 months.
Fast, yes, totally sterile and uneventful car.
Before the F80, I've had the F30 335i (so N55 instead of the N58). The N58 would have made it faster and that is about it. Otherwise, F80 vs F30 -- day and night.
Don't think I will ever go back to a non-M BMW.
