You still have to pay tax on installments. You just pay it up front when you buy the phone. |
I added up the installments and it came to the retail value without tax and the page said Apple collects tax in CA when purchasing unbundled. I assume bundled is the installment plan with service. The tax on my bill just appears to be some regulatory fees and taxes on the service.
