Thanks - Yes. At first I tried adding them one at a time, which didn't work (even though the write-up couldn't be clearer that you had to hit control and add them both at the same time, it was a long project day), but then I went back and added both at the same time and it appeared to work fine. None of them exactly matched my I-Step, so I picked one that was close.

A couple of other pieces of information: 1) I checked to see how it would act with the siren unplugged, and the alarm would not arm (the clown nose did not blink at all, etc.), so I think the roof module "sees" the siren even though it doesn't activate it, because it arms fine when the siren was plugged back in (but when the alarm is triggered it still honks the horn, rather than the siren). 2) the car is a 2013, and the retrofit roof module is from a 2016, but realoem shows the part # as being fully interchangeable, so I don't think that would be the problem.
