Please let me know your experience so that I can buy parts to have ready during my downpipe installation? Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Here's the related parts list from top (engine) to bottom (midpipe):
1) Pre-Converter O-Ring (metal gasket) 18-30-7-553-601 $17.72
2) Pre-Converter Clamp 11-65-7-620-508 $20.32
NEW DOWNPIPE- with two welded brackets that each have a bolt hole
Nuts & Bolts?- There are two brackets on the downpipe, each with a hole. There is a bracket with matching holes, called the Converter & Pipe Bracket (18-32-7-643-425 $39.73) that the downpipe must bolt to. A dealer told me that the nut is an M8 (18307525607 $1.27) but I haven't been able to determine what the bolts are. Any ideas? I assume these nuts and bolts might have to be replaced and I don't know what size/part# bolts to order.
4) Converter & Pipe Retainer Ring (Bottom Clamp) 18-30-7-620-349 $26.70 A dealer tech told me that these bottom clamps often don't come off and go back on very well so he makes sure that he has a replacement handy.

These are 3.5'' N55 PWG parts right? Everything i am seeing says these are not for EWG, but you later said these are the ones you ordered?

These are the correct parts for 2015 335i EWG RWD 8AT? I have seen these posted on several other threads.

My post was 8 months ago, but I'm sure it would have been what I ordered. I have a 4" (2015 335ix N55 EWG) model downpipe.
You can doublecheck the part numbers by giving your VIN number to GetBMWParts dot com where I ordered my parts. And you can also check on realoem dot com. Good luck!
