Went to another BMW dealer and they performed a quick check and told me they will be replacing it under warranty even though the engine sounds perfect!
I only have 58,000km on it so now I can drive with the ease of mind without worrying about when the chain will go! If you are in Canada with N20 engine, make sure to check with your local dealer. They said they KNOW that this is a known problem and it will only be right to replace them before failure. super happy now |
Wow, you have a great dealer. That is FAR from the normal experience from what I've heard. Congrats though, consider yourself lucky!
