According to German publication,
Handelsblatt, BMW plans to unveil its first ever electric 3 Series in September, at the Frankfurt Auto Show.
BMW is reportedly aiming for a range of at least 250 miles (400km) for the electric 3 Series. It will take on Tesla's upcoming Model 3 which offers at least 215 miles of range in its most basic configuration (while variants with bigger battery would provide more than 215 miles range).
