If you mean they would be more slippery then no, I highly doubt it. I have the old generation Performance pedals (they're standard on a 335is) and they are shockingly sticky. I actually sometimes find it a little difficult to slide my foot over from the brake to the gas pedal. Comparatively, the standard pedals I've had on my last four BMWs are much more slippery, especially when wet.

Although, it does look like the grippy black parts are pretty small on these new M Performance pedals so maybe you do have a point.
