That said, if it's officially approved as VW 507.00 spec, then that should be good enough. It's a low-SAPS/low-ash spec for VW TDIs. There are few N47's on this forum using a that spec of oil. In fact, the HTHS specs for both LL-04 and 507.00 are the same at 3.5 cP minimum.

- I do not believe that LL01 is fine for diesel with DPF
- LL04 works for both diesel (M57 & N47/N57) and gasoline (ULSG) (N51/N52/N53/N54/N54/N20/N26)
- LL12FE is officially 2016MY+ for N47
- VW 507.00 is close or better than LL04
Hence, using above scale, yes the above Valvoline should work where LL12/LL04/LL01 is appropriate.
I'd like to see UOA report (new and, maybe 8,000mi run) on N47
My N47 UOA results came far better after switch from LL12FE to LL04
