We spend a lot of effort to protect our devices from malicious third party software, but BMW (or Noritel on BMW's behalf) bring out their own! You would have thought that after the first report of this, they would have removed the update from the app, but it's clearly still there. So much for Germanic efficiency...

Please let us know the outcome of your support request. I assume that they may take a while as they will be swamped!
