Just got my production number! Popped over the other day and had a chat with the sales manager. Sounds like they had been jerking me around and pushing me out on the production schedule, but he said he'd check around and see if he could find a slot from another dealer. Looks like he was able to pull it off.
Now I can join the rest of you in grumbling about how My BMW won't accept the production number for 2016s yet...
