I also noticed this when doing WOT at low RPM.
It's seems with the cats removed the Turbo spool much faster than the ECU anticipating and it closes the throttle which result in what feels like a bog.
At that point in the logs boost spikes to 21-22 psi on stock Turbo then the throttle closure happens to regulate the boost.
