It is temperature related. When the clutch is cold, the pressure plate doesn't grab as well, hence the slip. But really it's just an early sign of the clutch starting go anyway. The slipping will get worse.

Thanks for the feedback. Hopefully the 550i clutch will hold stage 2 with DP.
