Following some of the drive cycle procedures helps so you know what to do. You need both hot and cold starts, extended idle, letting the car sit while warm (especially for EVAP), then city driving, highway driving, etc. You can use MHD to check if the monitors are ready.

I'm using MHD to check---tried some driving methods I saw on you tube and didn't do anything--I do have plenty of time since it is due in June, but was hoping to do it this week...if it takes a couple weeks then so be it. I'm not going to stress myself--I will idle it for awhile and another cold start run tomorrow to see if any progress is made.
