I don't normally chime in on these, but it's relative.
I have M-Sport standard suspension (not Adaptive) and standard brakes, and to me and how I drive, they are fine. I had a Camry before this car, and it's chalk and cheese. My wife still drives a Camry, and it's chalk and cheese with that too.
I can't comment on ANY other BMW, as this is my first and I love it's handling, transmission, power, braking, gadgets.
But yeah... each to their own really. You're allowed to hate it
