The M cars do indeed have different shaped fenders and fender liners. Wheelbase is just the distance between the front and rear axles of a vehicle, so both can be simultaneously true.
I wonder if OP had also done the thrust arms. Like I said in my previous post, they didn't fix the castor issue for me but perhaps it would for him as others have reported? For added value, my caster before the M LCA's and thrust arms was 7.2 L and 7.5 R. After the M upgrade it was 8.4 L and 8.6 R.
