Back from the dead! Im trying to get all the wiring for this install but 1. having issues finding the door and 2. can't find the mirror wire for a good price (only new about 70$) 61129281712.
Question is. Would the eBay seller be able to make the wire for the outside mirror? What is the length of that cable so i can try that.
I found a guy who made the wires for his F10 and doesn't seem too hard but i would rather get it right and order the 61119281258 Surround view HSD. Has anyone tried the before?
When ordering has anyone had any issues? I told them the same thing "eBay seller rfbat - This can be ordered custom from several sellers on eBay. The exact terminology used for my order and for another forum member was “FAKRA HSD LVDS Straight Female to FAKRA HSD LVDS Right Angle Female Dacar 535 4-Core 1M”, with a pin chart of “1-4, 2-3, 3-2, 4-1”.
and he said its about $20 a wire.
Any other parts i will be needing? How is coding? Im looking into picking up the coding cable and software for about $20 but idk how to use it. If its easy to use ill get it if its not then it ill charge me a bunch for that. I also need to code my new LED fogs and anything else i get
