Thanks, do you know how hard it is to take out that rubber part? And do they just pop back in? It would make it easier to clean as opposed to huddling over in the driver seat.
Yeah, covering up is ideal. Once I clean the damn cup holders I will buy something to cover 'em to prevent caking and stains like this again.

The rubber comes out easily. Just get under the edge.
