I do understand that the vehicle has to have some coding done - but where is this coding hardware & software? I have a 2016 750i xDrive. Because of many factors, including the rear sunshade...water on the rear glass...etc, my inside rear facing dashcam only captures 50% of hte action.

So, when I came across your coding, I can solve my problem by having an inside
cam facing the back-up screen :-)

But what do I need? I've looked everywhere and can't find the details of what to buy and where.

That's why I asked if you could back up and cover what's needed to get started and where the "code book" is.
