By office coding I guess you mean enhanced Bluetooth?
I think Tengocity had similar recently where the BMW software update wouldn't take as a potential result of a VO change through coding.
They got it working in the end though.
Since they've already reprogrammed/updated and your coding wasn't lost, it suggests their process didn't work!
