Next generation coupes have generally went sale in Aug/Sept (July/Aug production). This has been true with the e46 coupe and the e92. So expect next generation coupes to go on sale Aug/Sept of 2012 at the
earliest and possibly 2013 based on the 7 year cycle of the last two coupes.
e46 coupe began production in late summer 1999 as a 2000 model
e92 coupe began production in late summer 2006 as a 2007 model
