Mine currently just broke 40,000 miles; but I'll be up there pretty quick. I commute 125 miles a day, which is why I bought this car to begin with. Prior to this BMW; I owned a 2012 VW Golf diesel; which I just sold back to VW in February. in 56 months of ownership it had 170,000 miles on it when I turned it in.
Diesels can easily go well beyond 200k as long as they are maintained well, the engine should be the least of your concerns.
