From your comment, it sounds like you're hearing the turbo spool or your CAI pulling air, it's more pronounced if you have aftermarket intake or even the M perf airbox will let out the sound more, BMW calls it an intake silencer.

The CAI is on the driver side and the turbo is in the passenger side.

Is the sound more of a Hurrrrr or does it sound more like Cheeewww like a sneeze? lol
I comes from driver side. Before when the car was stock it barely heard but i got it tune catless dp and cp as well as the Awe exhaust now that sound heard a lot on when I accelerate. Sooner i leave the pedal it goes away.
I guess it sounds like hurrrrrrrrrrrr.
