Any 5W30 that meets the BMW LL04 specs and Mahle/Hengst/Mann filters J3OEF

Think your B58 has a dipstick so you can always do it that way

saves crawling around on the floor, more so this time of year

IIRC you'll need c6-6.5l - sometimes it's best to get x2 5L bottles and you've got enough there for a top up if needed

Oil is a personal choice; but I've used oils from Triple QX to Shell to Liqui Moly and never really found any difference. Then again I change it twice a year generally

Best to keep it fresh etc
