Registered for the forums purely to show my appreciation for the help on this.

Just purchased my first BMW (2013, F31 320d X Drive M Sport) and was nearly about to pass on it because it only had BUSINESS nav. I was informed by the salesman that I would need a car with ProNav to listen to BLUETOOTH Streaming music from my phone.

Thanks to the info on this thread I purchased the car and held my breath that I would be able to code in EBT. Picked up a VGate iCar and the Bimmercode app and it took less than 5 mins to listen to music without a cable.

For info I have a combox in the boot and I needed to set BT_MODUL_ON_OFF to NOT ACTIVE for it to work.
