Yes it is possible to use Bimmercode to code EBT.....IF you have the combox.
You need to have a comibox in the truck to do this (see attached pic to verify)
It is SUPER easy.
You will need to go into Expert Mode in two menus.
In HEADUNIT Menu...go into Expert mode then 3003_Telefon_Telematik_Online
Turn these to "Aktiv" : - CDMM_Bluetooth_Audio
CDMM_BT_DATABASE
AUDIO_PLAYER_ON_OFF
BT_MODUL_ON_OFF
A2DP_PROFILE
In COMIBOX Menu....go into Expert mode then 3004_Bluetooth_Parameter and turn this to "Aktiv" :
Its that simple.

Hey, I have a quick question. I did the coding for enhanced Bluetooth. I was wondering if I already I had it installed. Following the steps, the first part in the headunit only the first was active. I made the rest active. When I got to the second part in the comibox it was already active. I’m wondering if I needed to actually change anything? |
If you getting stuck on please wait screen on the iDrive then go to BT_MODUL_ON_OFF and select not active and it will work.
I had this issue and select not active in BT_MODUL_ON_OFF and worked straight away
