We have the same issue with our F34 and the trunk. Only on the passengers side of the car. It gets dirty pretty fast ... we need to clean it every second month to avoid blocking.
Someone got a good idea how to improve this finally ... we are parking the car at the street and do not have a pressure pump or something there to get rid of the dirt easily.
