So now it seems like the service department is pushing this off to the used car manager. I assume they must have something on record of an accident or respray. It could have been done at the dealership, or another dealership, or even some type of work that happened when the car was returned from lease.

Given they won't even submit an estimate to BMW Canada makes me think that there is something on record, I asked them and they aren't giving me an answer. I don't understand why they cannot be straightforward. Its my car and they're keeping these details like its a secret. I find it strange they automatically default to it being repaired, they did not do a paint thickness test when I was there.

At this point I feel deceived - During the buying experience the sales team really did a good job of convincing me the car was accident free, a 360 check would be done, and this dealership has the best diligence with their pre-owned cars.

I'm going to keep pushing them. This is totally unfair.
