This is what bothers me so much about the situation. Absolutely ridiculous. I'm sure there's some "logic" behind it... I'd really love to hear it.

There are very significant hardware updates coming alongside the "next generation" Nav Professional System. Including a high-end (with regards to the automotive world, anyway) nvidia graphics chip.
