I should probably update this thread as have done quite a few more things since I last updated it.

On the M Performance diff... I am very happy with it, but I can't say that I've used it lots for sliding around. Having had the M4 with it's diff, and then driving my dad's M135i with an open diff it was really clear to me just how much the diff helps with the traction on corner exits, and without it I could feel it being lost, and the car not being as sharp and precise as I'd like (my dad's car). So on fitting the LSD to the 340i what I can say is that I am happy to give it a right bootful coming out of a corner, or a quick exit on a junction (even if it's wet), and knowing it's going to just hook up and go. If you're not smooth, or you really want to, then you can get it to kick out, but it's all nicely controllable and predictable, and the car is in no way traction limited. I like it, and for me, a performance car with this kind of power is really finished off with the diff.

I've also added a bootmod3 flash, so it's up around the 400+bhp mark, and so the diff is really going to be handy to ensure they all get to the road.
